Corporate History

We started our business in order to provide meat products to the Meat Department at H-Mart in Coquitlam, BC in 2003.

GS Food Ltd was established in October of 2010. We focused on providing Asian-style meats to four H-Mart retail stores and local restaurants in BC.

Our company continued to grow to the point that further expansion became necessary. By June of 2012, plans were created for a state of the art meat processing operation and the GS Food Ltd facility in Port Coquitlam, BC was commissioned. Subsequently, we expanded our business to H-Mart in Toronto and a variety of customers in Alberta.

Since we consider Meat Safety to be the most important value of our company, we were certified HACCP from CFIA. Through diligence and effort, we have kept our food quality and safety standards high.

We started to provide the service to Superstore and we expanded its market opportunities nationwide in Canada in 2014.

We recently implemented new packing systems to keep our meats fresher longer enabling us to be prepared to take orders from a wide variety of customers to meet their unique needs, and expectations while improving customer satisfaction.
